HIGH POINT, N.C. — The International Society of Furniture Designers has announced the 2026 Pinnacle Awards finalists, with several outdoor designs part of the 107 contenders across 32 categories. The 2026 winners will be announced and honored at a gala during fall High Point Market on Oct. 19, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., in the IHFC 11th Floor Club Level Ballroom.
The competition highlights designers whose ideas move beyond the drawing board to become furniture and textiles that manufacturers produce, retailers present, and consumers ultimately bring into their homes. It celebrates design not only as an aesthetic pursuit but also as a force that drives the home furnishings business.
Outdoor products and brands honored among the finalists include:
Calypso outdoor swivel chair, Bernhardt Furniture
Edgeport-Trellis outdoor dining, Bernhardt Furniture
Wrap lounge chair, BDE&Co.
Zen outdoor collection, Bernhardt Furniture
Estate Dream Rocker, Dux Outdoors
Plantain chair, Ty Atwood
“Over the past 30 years, the Pinnacle Awards have given us a front-row seat to the evolution of furniture design, from shifting aesthetics and materials to new technologies, manufacturing methods, and ways of living,” said David Blair, executive director of ISFD. “The 2026 finalists continue that evolution, bringing fresh perspectives to products designed not only to make an impression but also to find a place in consumers’ homes. We look forward to bringing the industry together to celebrate these talented designers and to reveal this year’s Pinnacle Award winners.”
Seating is limited for the Pinnacle Awards gala, and tickets are now available on the Pinnacle Awards Gala website. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit the ISFD Foundation Scholarship Fund, which supports student designers from schools across the country.
