HIGH POINT, N.C. — Bernhardt Furniture and Dux Outdoors both earned Pinnacle Awards for outdoor seating designs, presented during High Point Market.
Bernhardt was honored for the Calypso outdoor swivel chair, which features a distinctive frame made of sliced teak pieces assembled in a puzzlelike pattern. The curved design also features a fully upholstered seat attached to the swivel base.
The Dux Outdoors DreamRocker also earned a Pinnacle Award for outdoor design. The poly lumber rocker is made with a thicker frame and more slats, as well as a curved back and seat designed to create a comfortable sit without cushions.
The 2026 Pinnacle Awards recognized excellence across the home furnishings industry, from furniture and lighting to upholstery, outdoor living, decorative accents and more. The competition also spotlights specialized design talent through its Designer-Maker categories and recognizes sustainable innovation through the Green Leaf Award and Biophilic Design in Wood. This year’s results included a three-way tie for the Green Leaf Award and a two-way tie in Major Collections.
