COLOGNE, Germany — European outdoor products show Spoga+Gafa will offer a range of events and programming and specialized exhibitions at the upcoming market, slated for June 22-24 at Koelnmesse. New programming and exhibits will focus on digitalization, AI, outdoor living, city gardening and outdoor cooking.
The show will demonstrate how even small spaces can be transformed into green havens at the Grow Anywhere: How City Gardening Transforms Every Living Space area. Four balcony and terrace vignettes will display creative solutions for urban living spaces. Seminars in the Grow Anywhere section will focus on topics such as biodiversity, self-sufficiency and sustainable outdoor living.
In the Outdoor Adventure section, a converted camper van created in partnership with Deinraus will feature an integrated stage where industry experts will discuss current developments in the outdoor marketplace.
The Digital Garden exhibition area will spotlight digital solutions for brick-and-mortar trade and e-commerce. Topics such as AI applications, digital sales channels, digital ads and best practices will be discussed on the area’s center stage.
The Pitmaster Stage brings well-known barbecue and grill professionals such as Dirk Ludwig, Jannik Vinke “Der Grilltyp” (the Grill Guy), Marcel Felix “BBQlicate,” Christina Becher “Löffel & Licht” (Spoon & Light), the BBQCrew from Sauerland, Marco Greulich “BBQFlavors,” Tom Heinzle, Klaus Breinig and Tommy Madel “Sir Grillalot.”
In the outdoor area between Koelnmesse Halls 7 and 8, the Pit & Pitch — Eat. Play. Stay. activity area features an American-style tailgating concept that combines communal grilling and sporting activities.
Additional industry events at Spoga+Gafa include the BIAG Champagne reception on June 22 at noon, Prime BBQ Night on June 22 at 6 p.m., VDG Happy Hour on June 22 at 5 p.m., APAC/EU Outdoor Living Forum on June 23 at 10 a.m., the BHB Garden Summit on June 23 at 2 p.m., and the IVG & BHB Garden Party on June 23 at 5:30 p.m.
