Arteriors is the latest home furnishings brand to make a significant investment in the outdoor category, and it is preparing to show its 50-piece collection in High Point this April.
Casual News Now took a sneak peek at some of the products to learn more about how the indoor-outdoor collection stands out. With a focus on durability, indoor-related materials and elevated style, the brand has created a collection that takes direct inspiration from its current indoor collections and incorporates weather-resistant materials. It follows a trend that’s starting to build in the outdoor industry: vintage-styled furniture reminiscent of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.
The brand is also pushing a big mix-and-match message, as it says the pieces in the collection — which includes a mix of rattan, teak, concrete and aluminum — match easily with one another. With the addition of rugs to the company, as well as its outdoor category, the brand now offers whole-home solutions for outdoor spaces.
Here’s a closer look at the product ahead of its debut at the High Point Market.
The Dupont chair features a ’70s-style “puzzle piece” seating with open-weave synthetic rattan, shown here in a weathered gray. The Porpoise-colored performance pillows are in a unique boucle fabric, and this group also comes in a sofa option. The geometric Dover tables are made from charcoal concrete and were designed to be mixed and matched in seating areas.
The long-lined Caldwell has chunky, carved teak legs in a rustic weather texture and is shown here paired with the contemporary Etta ivory concrete coffee table. Made to fit with the sofa and table or anywhere else, the Escape teak bench has a subtle pebble synthetic rope design on the back, giving it dimension and texture.
The DelRio table, shown here with Chilton chairs, makes a statement with natural colors and materials that blend seamlessly with their surroundings. The weave on the table base complements the woven design of the chairs, making them easily paired or used with other pieces in Arteriors’ collection.
Paired here are the Daytona chaise and the curvy Dewey outdoor table. The traditional sunbed is elevated with a textural
mix of materials. A sturdy frame made from powder-coated aluminum in a blackened bronze finish supports a Dutch-weave synthetic rope seat. The claw-foot motifs and hourglass silhouette on the crafted concrete table give it a quirky feel.
The Dominic outdoor table and Chapman chairs are two examples of indoor style brought directly outdoors. Measuring 91 inches long, the dining table can comfortably fit eight people. The symmetrical back of the chairs almost look like they mirror one another, offering a high-style design for the outdoors.
The Seychelles Sand Outdoor Rug has a contemporary take on a classic chevron pattern and thick, chunky weave done in mélange yarn, giving it depth and dimension. It’s available in sizes 8’x10’, 9’x12’, 10’x14’,12’x15’ and 13’x18’.
