CINCINNATI — The Porch Swing Co. will debut its first designer collaboration with Indiana furnishings manufacturer Old Hickory and designer Max Humphrey at High Point Market.
The new Lodge Swing is handcrafted in Indiana by the team at Old Hickory, featuring a selection of Sunbrella fabrics from the Max Humphrey collection. The swing comes in two finishes — Espresso and Green — and features slatted wood seating, herringbone Duracane detailing and ruched chain covers.
“We’ve always believed outdoor living should feel personal because it’s the heart of everything we make,” said Sean Fisher, CEO of The Porch Swing Co. “Bringing Old Hickory’s craftsmanship together with Max Humphrey’s vision takes that belief somewhere new. This collaboration isn’t just a simple swing; it’s an expression of rustic American design elevated for premier spaces.”

The swing’s cushion is customizable, with a choice of fits, colors and patterns. And the swing also boasts heavy-duty hanging chains with galvanized and zinc-plated hardware to provide lasting strength and resistance to rust and corrosion.
“Working on this product collaboration together opened our eyes to what’s possible when craftsmanship meets a shared vision,” said Beau Parsons, CEO at Old Hickory. “We took nostalgia as our starting point and pushed every detail to the edge of design.”
The piece will make its debut at the fall High Point Market in the Old Hickory showroom in IHFC’s Interhall, IH409. The companies will host a “Meet Max” event 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 18, featuring a meet-and-greet with Humphrey.
