HIGH POINT, N.C. — North Carolina-based outdoor furnishings manufacturer Uwharrie Outdoor Living is returning to the High Point Market for the first time in years, exhibiting in the new showroom of its parent company, Armen Living.
The brands will launch 53 new collections with 250 new SKUs across indoor and outdoor, as well as 50 new outdoor products that were introduced at the winter Las Vegas Market. Uwharrie Outdoor Living’s product assortment will include Adirondack-style outdoor lounge furniture, bar and counter stools, dining chairs and sets, benches, ottomans, swings and gazebos.
“The beauty of Uwharrie’s collections comes from the combination of classic American styling with extraordinary comfort and character,” said Kevin Kevonian, owner, president and CEO of Armen Living. “Handcrafted and made to order, by artisans in North Carolina, each piece of Uwharrie’s furniture is generously scaled, sturdy and robust, and available in a variety of colors and styles including traditional, transitional to contemporary.”

Outdoor collections from both Armen Living and Uwharrie Outdoor Living will be displayed at the company’s new 7,000-square-foot showroom at 417 S. Wren St. The showroom opens on April 20, with 8 a.m.-6 p.m. hours throughout High Point Market, which runs through April 29.
“We are thrilled to be debuting Uwharrie Outdoor Living’s collections alongside Armen Living’s indoor and outdoor in our new High Point home,” Kevonian said. “By combining our two brands we now have a single flagship showroom which will allow us to premiere 100s of unique designs, to an international audience during the spring High Point Market.”
The brands will host a party 5-8 p.m. on April 26, celebrating the 100th High Point Market of Armen Living National Sales Manager Reb Nicholson, featuring food, drinks and music from industry band The Armen Hammers. The showroom also will host a panel discussion on The Nexus Between PR, Marketing and Sales 10:30-11:30 a.m. on April 26. The panel — which will be moderated by industry strategist and HB2 CEO Caroline Hipple — includes Serena Martin, owner of 24/7 Creative Agency; marketing and branding specialist Katie Hickenbottom; and sales and marketing expert Tarah Jakubiak.
