Jeff Jimison, national sales director for Tempotest USA, is retiring at the end of this year.
Jimison has served in his current position for the past eight years. During this time, Tempotest has experienced “tremendous sales growth and has become a well-known brand in performance fabrics for inside and outside furniture, awning, and marine applications,” according to the company.
“The brand and the business are both doing very well and the future for Para and Tempotest USA in North America is bright and unlimited,” Jimison says. “I cannot envision a better time to step away and begin my personal new life adventures knowing that what I helped build at Tempotest USA will continue to grow and prosper far into the future. It has been an honor to work with such a great company that is filled with a great family ownership team and a support staff that is unequaled in their knowledge and passion for the business.”
Marco Parravicini, CEO of Tempotest parent company Para, adds, “It is always difficult and very sad to say goodbye to a collaborator of the highest professional and moral value like Jeff is. As I have always said, Jeff, with his professionalism, with his extraordinary knowledge of the product, and with his unstoppable enthusiasm, was the real architect of the success that Tempotest has had on the North American market in the last 10 years. It will not be easy to replace a professional of this level who perhaps belongs to a textile culture that is on the verge of extinction. But in this moment of great personal sadness, I must at the same time congratulate Jeff on finishing a brilliant and rewarding career and wish him to rejoice and enjoy this new phase of life that awaits him. I am sure that a man like him will be able to make even the non-working life a unique and fulfilling experience”.
