ICFA names Manufacturer of the Year and Sales Rep of the Year finalists

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) announced the finalists for Manufacturer of the Year and Sales Representative of the Year awards.

Five companies were selected for ICFA’s Manufacturer Leadership Award after a call for online nominations in July among ICFA’s membership. This year’s honorees include Castelle by Tropitone, Lloyd Flanders, Summer Classics, Telescope Casual Furniture and Treasure Garden.

The finalists were selected based on the overall design and quality of their products, along with their merchandising, customer service, ethics, communications and trade relations. Company profiles of the finalists will be distributed to ICFA members for a second round of voting.

The finalists for the Sales Representative of the Year award were named following a call for nominations in July among the membership. The award recognizes an outstanding sales representative within the casual furnishings industry. Finalists were selected based on leadership, professionalism, exceptional service, communication skills, knowledge and product training expertise.

The 2021 winner will be selected from among the five finalists through online voting of the ICFA membership. Finalists include: Paul Bentley, Birmingham, Ala.; Joe Crandall, Marietta, Ga.; Billy Markowitz, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; Courtney Randolph, Irvine, Calif.; and Richie Weyershausen, Houston.

The winners of both awards will be announced during the ICFA Awards Gala at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park on September 22.

Hosted by theMART at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, the ICFA Awards Gala will bring together all segments of the outdoor furnishings industry to recognize the top retail stores, manufacturers and sales representatives. Products receiving the industry’s Design Excellence Awards will be spotlighted, along with the two Lilly Awards for Outdoor Furniture and Outdoor Accents plus the Lillian B. Winchester “Best of Show” design award.

Tickets for ICFA members can be ordered from the ICFA website, www.icfanet.org/2021-Awards-Dinner-Reservations, for $85 per person or $800 for a table of 10.
