DALLAS — Outdoor furniture industry veteran Andy Sokol has been named president of casual furnishings manufacturer American Eco-Living.
“We are thrilled to have Andy join our company,” said Johnson Zhang, American Eco-Living owner and CEO. “With his experience in product development plus all areas of the business from supply chain all the way to the end consumer, we are looking forward to growing our sales and business partner relationships. Andy has a great track record of successful accomplishments and team leadership.”

Sokol began his career in 1983 at Fortunoff, leading the family-owned New York retailer to sales of more than $100 million in his role as vice president of merchandising. During his tenure Fortunoff became one of the top outdoor furnishings retailers in the country.
From there, Sokol went on to hold senior executive roles at Macy’s and Agio, where he served as vice president of sales from 2011-2016.
Sokol was recruited by Ashley Furniture Industries in 2016 to launch its outdoor division and serve as vice president of merchandising and sales.
“I am excited to be working with Johnson and his fantastic team, and I look forward to working with customers in our showroom in Atlanta to see our new and exciting line,” Sokol said. “Johnson and his team make the best quality outdoor furniture I have seen during my career and the use of multi- materials such as aluminum, resin wicker, HDPE, eucalyptus or teak make us a one-stop shop.”
American Eco-Living has a permanent showroom on the 6th floor of AmericasMart Atlanta.
