Brown Jordan has long been a staple in the outdoor furnishings industry, and now it has added rugs to complete its lineup.
The introduction came from seeing how designers and clients increasingly wanted a seamless visual flow between furniture, flooring and architecture. Brown Jordan’s team recognized the opportunity to extend its design language beneath the furniture, to literally ground the outdoor environment in the same refinement that defines their pieces.
The company’s first-ever rug collection debuted at the fall High Point Market, and Brown Jordan President Ben Collins said it received an incredible response.
“Designers loved how the rugs unified our new introductions and elevated the full Brown Jordan experience,” he said. “Designed from the ground up, the collection completes the space with a foundation of texture and harmony true to Brown Jordan’s design philosophy.
Collins said the rugs connect the materials the company is known for — powder-coated aluminum, rope, teak and luxurious performance fabric — into one harmonious story, creating a refined foundation for the entire outdoor setting.
Hand-woven from 100% solution-dyed polypropylene, the material is color-locked into the fiber for stronger UV- and fade-resistance compared to surface-dyed rugs. Antimicrobial, moisture-resistant and densely woven, they retain shape and integrity, which is why Collins said the company chose the material.
The collection features rich textures, thoughtful patterns and a refined palette to complement Brown Jordan’s material library. Styled with the elegance of an interior rug yet woven to endure the elements, these pieces bring tactile sophistication to the open air. The versatile rugs can be used for grounding seating groups, softening poolside lounges or defining hospitality spaces. The result is a fusion of design and durability.
While the rugs are produced by a leading manufacturer in the space, each design was hand-selected for Brown Jordan to align with its signature materials, finishes and color palettes. Every pattern and hue was thoughtfully curated by its in-house design team to ensure the rugs feel inherently part of the Brown Jordan assortment.
“These rugs reflect the same craftsmanship and design integrity as our furniture, refined patterns, rich textures and indoor-level sophistication built for life outdoors,” Collins said.
The collection includes 11 designs in versatile colorways, from coastal blues and refreshing greens to warm terra-cottas and natural neutrals, all curated to complement Brown Jordan’s signature finishes and textiles.

Bay – Flat-woven from 100% UV-stabilized Royaltron polypropylene, this design comes in Oyster, Balsa (shown above) and Heather Gray colorways.
Calypso – Wilton woven from 95% SD UV-stabilized Royaltron polypropylene and 5% Polysilk, this design comes in Shimmer, Skipping Stone, Oyster and Rattan (shown above) colorways.
CrestFlat – Woven from 100% UV Stabilized Royaltron polypropylene, this design comes in Oyster, Frost, Heather Gray, Gun Metal (show above) and Saddle designs.
Knots – Flat-woven from 100% UV-stabilized Royalton polypropylene in Frost, Heather Gray (shown above), Shell, Saddle and Burnt Umber.
Maris – Flat woven from 100% UV-stabilized Royaltron polypropylene, this design comes in Oyster, Frost, Platinum and Burnt Umber (shown above) colorways.
Nexus – Hand-loomed from 100% UV-stabilized Polysilk and available in Sand, Moss Taupe, Metal and Marine (shown above) colorways.
Noble – Hand-loomed from UV-stabilized, solution-dyed polypropylene with a 7” pattern repeat. It comes in Ironside, Saddle, Pomegranate and Lapis (shown above) colorways.
Pebble – Flat-woven from 100% UV-stabilized Royaltron polypropylene, it comes in Heather Grey, Metal and Saddle (shown above) colorways.
Shore – Hand-loomed from 100% UV-stabilized Polysilk with a half-drop pattern, this design is available in Oyster, Dune (shown above), Lake, Aqua Mist, Platinum and Ocean colorways.
Surf – Hand-loomed from 100% UV-stabilized Polysilk with a half-drop pattern, it comes in Oyster, Frost (shown above), Platinum and Saddle colorways.
