SYRACUSE, Ind. — Polywood launched its new Westgrove Pergola collection, the brand’s first outdoor structure product. The company previewed the pergola at this year’s Casual Market Atlanta.
The Westgrove Pergola brings a more intentional sense of structure to the backyard. Designed to complement Polywood’s deep seating and dining collections, it creates a defined place to gather, dine or simply spend more time outside. With a durable, permanent design made for year-round use, the new pergola was designed to help homeowners make the most of the outdoor space they already have.
“Our vision has always been to make the backyard a true extension of the home. Expanding into pergolas and shade structures lets us blur the line between indoor and outdoor living even further,” says Brady Maller, CEO at Polywood. “As we continue to see a growing desire for outdoor spaces that are more comfortable, functional, and inviting, expanding into pergolas was a natural next step for Polywood. With the launch of Westgrove, homeowners can transform their backyards into an inviting outdoor living room, dining space, or poolside retreat, built with the same low-maintenance performance they have trusted from Polywood for more than 35 years.”
Engineered to withstand the elements without sacrificing aesthetic appeal, the Pergola expansion pairs Polywood’s proprietary high-density polyethylene lumber with elevated craftsmanship. The Westgrove Pergola will launch in Polywood’s Select Natural finish in both 8′ x 12′ and 12′ x 12′ structures.
Homeowners can personalize their outdoor space with approved hanging accessories and swings, while professional installation is highly recommended. The pergola can accommodate accessories weighing up to 30 pounds hung from the top beams using standard deck hardware, as well as a swing that holds up to 800 pounds (400 pounds per hook).
Pergolas can be installed on footings, pylons, hard flat surfaces, or installed pavers with the appropriate substrate and decking. They are not approved for installation directly on grass or soil. Polywood Westgrove Pergolas come with a 20-year residential warranty.
The Westgrove Pergola is available online at www.polywood.com starting at $8,999 and $9,999. White glove delivery is also available, including professional installation and assembly, and packaging removal.
