Telescope Casual mourns loss of Chris Ettori

Chris Ettori, senior vice president of manufacturing for Telescope Casual Furniture, died unexpectedly on Jan. 10. He was 50 years old.

Ettori was a deeply respected and valued member of the Telescope Casual family for more than 30 years. He began his career with the company just out of high school in the metal department, quickly distinguishing himself through an exceptional work ethic, determination and leadership well beyond his years.

Through unwavering commitment and dedication, Ettori advanced into management, later serving as vice president of production and as a member of the Telescope board of directors. In February 2025, he was promoted to senior vice president of manufacturing. Ettori celebrated his 30th anniversary with Telescope Casual in 2024.

Throughout his career, Ettori treated the success of Telescope Casual as a personal responsibility. He was steadfast in his dedication to the company and took great pride in working alongside his uncle, Ben. His legacy of integrity, mentorship and determination will continue to shape Telescope Casual for years to come.

“Chris was one of my most trusted advisers and a leader who gave everything to Telescope Casual,” said Kathy Juckett, CEO and chairman of the board, Telescope Casual. “We will miss him profoundly, and we are forever grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.”

Beyond his professional achievements, Ettori was a devoted husband to his wife, Christine, and a loving father to his children, Brianna and Jarrett. Over the decades, Chris and his family became an integral part of the Telescope Casual family, as well.

Outside of work, Ettori enjoyed working on stock cars, building award-winning holiday tractor parade floats with his family, and renovating and spending time at his camp. He cherished time with friends on snowmobile trips and shared many memorable motorcycle rides.

The Telescope Casual team said that Ettori’s presence will be profoundly missed throughout the company, and his familiar humming, warm greetings and steady leadership left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
