Polywood launches new recycled lumber

SYRACUSE, Ind. — As part of its 35th anniversary celebration, recycled plastic furniture maker Polywood is introducing a new premium lumber product called Polywood Select.

Polywood Select features two proprietary advancements: Microcell technology provides enhanced resistance to moisture over the company’s Heritage lumber. And the GenuineGrain finish offers a highly detailed texture enhanced with TrueTone hues and striations to elevate the aesthetic.

Select lumber is available in three colorways: Natural, Kona and Driftwood. The material will be available in several top-selling Polywood collections, including Modern Adirondack, Edge, Vineyard, Nautical and the PW Designer Series, which includes the Estate, Elevate and Latitude collections.

Select lumber also features Polywood’s proprietary Solidcore durability, ColorStay technology for fade resistance and ClimateTuff materials tested to withstand extreme outdoor conditions. Prices of Select lumber products vary by collection, starting at $349 for the Modern Adirondack chair. Select lumber, like all of Polywood’s products, is made of recycled plastic and manufactured in Syracuse and Roxboro, North Carolina.
