C.R. Plastics has been busy cooking up new products that not only stand up to the elements but also have a new and improved look reflecting the company’s shift to high-design products.
“We want to support our customer base as best we can to help them sell the brand and make the most of marketing materials and assets,” said Tracey Lavelle, director of marketing for C.R. Plastics. “We also want to continue educating consumers and how they’re different. While they’re made from recycled plastic and are super durable and low maintenance, they still look great and have a high style.”
The company has several new product collections that it will display at upcoming markets, and we got the scoop on how they meet today’s design trends.

The sleek Tofino collection includes multiple pieces, from a three-seater sofa and stationary armchairs to a shade extension and a coffee table. The design of the collection features sloped legs that offer an elegant look.

C.R. Plastics launched a new category this year: fire pits. Available in five classic colors, the products come in 48-inch square and rectangular models, as well as 46-inch round, and they all have space underneath to hide a propane tank. The flames ignite with the push of a button, and the products include a kit to convert from liquid propane to natural gas. “These are gorgeous pieces, and we feel that they help complete seating sets on any patio,” Lavelle says.

The Charleston high-back deep-seating collection has a sophisticated design, with swivel armchairs and a sizable sofa. Available in five frame colors, the collection exudes a coastal charm that hearkens to its namesake city.

Dining has been a growth category for C.R. Plastics, which is why the company unveiled a 48-inch round dining table. The simple sophistication of the piece makes it ideal for nearly any backyard without taking up too much space. It also features a hole in the center that can fit any standard-size umbrella.

The Napa collection is made for sizable gatherings with a table that measures as long as 84 inches, with the largest model seating up to eight people. It boasts clean lines and modern style and includes a 2-inch umbrella hole.
“We’re always innovating and looking at what’s next, so we will have more new products available later this year that are currently in the development stages,” Lavelle said. “We’ll continue to make sure that we’re keeping on-trend with what we see in the industry while also adding special touches of our own.”
