Casual furnishings and outdoor furniture brands are ready to do business in Atlanta with 100-plus temporary exhibitors confirmed for the inaugural Casual Market Atlanta in July.
Enthusiasm for the reinvigorated market and the opportunity to showcase more product to more buyers already has inspired a 50% expansion of exhibit space planned for this summer’s debut buying event.
“The response to the Casual Market’s relocation from Chicago to Atlanta has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Dorothy Belshaw, International Market Centers executive vice president and chief growth officer. “Established brands and innovative newcomers are tapping AmericasMart to showcase their full spectrums of outdoor living product to top buyers in the casual furnishings industry and beyond.”
Among leading furniture brands exhibiting in the Casual Market Atlanta temporary exhibits are America’s Backyards & Outdoor Living (patio furniture), Armen Living (contemporary residential and contract outdoor furniture), Bernhardt Furniture Co. (luxury outdoor furnishings), CabanaCoast Outdoor Furniture (luxury residential and commercial patio furniture), Cane-Line USA (Danish outdoor furniture), Flexsteel (showing Homestyles outdoor furniture line), The Hammock Source (outdoor-relaxation products), Pacific Casual (casual furniture and garden houses), Sunbrella (outdoor fabrics) and Vanguard Furniture (high-end outdoor furniture).
Additional outdoor and casual product offerings include fire pits, hammocks, outdoor and garden accessories, outdoor lighting, statuary, umbrellas and more. Temporary exhibitors in these categories include Carolina Casual (outdoor furniture made from recycled materials), Domiziani America (volcanic rock and lava stone indoor/outdoor tables handmade in Italy), Floating Luxuries (luxury in-pool furniture and floats), FlowerHouse (pop-up greenhouses and storage sheds plus hanging furniture), Kaemingk Intl. (holiday décor), Koverroos/Goldencare (outdoor furniture covers and cleaning products), Ocean Rock USA Inc. (gas fire pits), Prism Hardscapes (fire tables and fire pits), Real Flame (outdoor fireplaces and furniture plus indoor electric fireplaces), Trans-Ocean Imports (indoor and outdoor rugs) and West of the Wind (all-weather outdoor canvas art).
While most brands are not new to the International Casual Furnishings Association’s Casual Market (previously held in Chicago), many are new to Atlanta Market, which runs concurrently July 11-17 at AmericasMart Atlanta. Co-location of the wholesale buying events provides a distinct and synergistic cross-category buying and selling opportunity.
Casual Market Atlanta buyers have easy access to some 6,000 complementary furnishings, gift, lifestyle, seasonal, housewares and gourmet lines, and outdoor and casual brands can connect with tens of thousands of retailers from across the U.S. and around the world. A full list of Atlanta Market exhibitors is available here.
“Excitement is building for the debut of Casual Market Atlanta,” adds Jackie Hirschhaut, executive director of the ICFA. “Buyers and brands eagerly await gathering again in our new home in Atlanta.”
