Outward, Inc. has been announced as one of the lead sponsors for this year’s WithIt Professional Conference, which is scheduled to take place from June 22 to June 24 in Alexandria, Va. The networking conference, which is known as the home and furnishings industry’s best forum for professional development to build today’s leaders, caters to women in the home and furnishings sector.
“We share so many of WithIt’s values to equip and ensure women have the tools, resources and encouragement needed to seek and reach their own highest potential. We are excited to be an integral part of this year’s conference,” says Gaurav Sethi, co-founder of Outward, Inc.
As part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Outward strives to support the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, according to a release. Williams-Sonoma, Inc. provides equal opportunity for all associates, with over 60% women directors, and Outward officials says participation in the conference is another step to strengthen these efforts to pave the road for all-inclusive leadership.

The conference kicks off with an opening reception at noon on June 22. On June 23 and 24, keynote speakers will touch on all aspects of personal development. Global workforce expert, Dr. Shirley Davis, will be discussing inclusive leadership and each attendee will receive a free copy of her book, “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Dummies,” on behalf of Outward, Inc.
The conference will also include breakout sessions, a cocktail reception, a special 25th-anniversary celebration and more. It will be held at The Westin Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va.
