With just weeks until the December launch of JuniperMarket, a new B2B e-commerce marketplace powered by International Market Centers (IMC), the in-house team is working to onboard tens of thousands of SKUs per day from gift, home, and lifestyle sellers.
“JuniperMarket is operating in high-gear, with our team of nearly 200 technologists and customer experience specialists working non-stop to onboard brands for our December launch,” says Eric Dean, president of Juniper by IMC. “Momentum is building for JuniperMarket as buyers and sellers eagerly anticipate this new opportunity to connect—anytime and everywhere.”
JuniperMarket will showcase thousands of brands with millions of product SKUs. Sellers include brands such as Amity Home, Auskin, Authentic Models, Bethany Lowe, Brownlow Publishing, Cyan Design, HomArt, Kahuna Chair, Kalalou, Ooly, Park Hill, Reliant Ribbon, Rolf Glass, Sagebrook, Zuo Modern, and others. Additional brands are being confirmed daily in preparation for the launch.
“We’re really excited to be able to showcase our full offerings online outside of markets,” says Danah Hurst, Park Hill director of sales and customer care. “We’re excited to connect with buyers who aren’t able to come to market, and also to find new buyers. JuniperMarket is really going to be a place for buyers to come and find product.”
Sellers can join JuniperMarket online at www.junipermarket.com, by email to Mike Harris (mharris@junipercommerce.com) or through Juniper showrooms at IMC’s physical markets in Atlanta (January 11-18 at AmericasMart Atlanta), Las Vegas (January 23-27 at World Market Center Las Vegas) or High Point (April 22-26 at 17 properties in High Point, NC).
Whether online or onsite, brands and sales agencies also can access information about the JuniperCommerce suite of SaaS tools, which are fully integrated with JuniperMarket and IMC’s Las Vegas Market and Atlanta Market websites.
Through outreach and activities at IMC’s physical markets in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas, 25,000-plus qualified retailers and designers have already signed up to be the first to register and shop on JuniperMarket in anticipation of the coming launch. Through integration with buyer pre-registration for IMC physical markets and at-market visibility through JuniperMarket “Preview Pods,” the pre-registered buyer universe continues to grow.
For the next month, a select group of 1,000+ buyers will test the e-commerce marketplace and provide feedback prior to the official launch date. Their input about the platform’s utility and user-friendliness—for both discovery and buying—will inform any improvements needed prior to launch as well a series of enhancements already planned into and through 2022.
When it launches in December, JuniperMarket will bridge IMC’s physical and digital markets, enabling buyers and sellers to connect anytime and everywhere. Sellers can generate leads, manage customers and sell year-round, and buyers can shop favorite brands, search and discover new brands and create projects and brand-specific shopping carts.
“This launch has been in the planning for a long time, and we’re delighted to see the plans come to fruition,” Dean says. “While we’re moving rapidly towards our official launch in December, we already are working behind the scenes on a series of enhancements and improvements to the user experience. The best has only just begun!”
Buyer pre-registration for JuniperMarket is available online at www.junipermarket.com. Retailers and designers also can register for JuniperMarket as part of the Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market buyer registration process, or at-market through JuniperMarket Experience Centers.
