When Armen Living acquired Uwharrie Chair Co. at the end of 2025, it reemphasized its commitment to the casual category.
At the time, Kevin Kevonian, owner, president and CEO of Armen Living, said this acquisition would “unlock limitless possibilities in design and add significant fuel to the future growth of their company by providing new resources to their business and expanding their customer base.”
Now, their work together is coming to fruition. The upcoming High Point Market will be an exciting time for the sister brands to show how their collaboration has worked and what it has produced.
The co-located 8,000-square-foot showroom at 417 S. Wrenn St. in downtown High Point will be a hub of activity during the market.
Uwharrie Outdoor Living will co-host a special event with the American Society of Interior Designers at 10 a.m. on Oct. 18, titled “Procurement as Profit: Strengthening Revenue Streams Through Procurement”

Presented by Khoi Vo, CEO of ASID, this intimate discussion will have design and manufacturing experts dive into procurement as a strategic revenue stream and how to build stronger practices and create sustainable value for design firms and clients.
Leading designer panelists include Catherine French, founder/principal of Cat French Design, Antonio DeLoatch, founder and principal designer of Antonio DeLoatch Designs, alongside Holly Lightfoot, director of product development for both Armen Living and Uwharrie Outdoor Living.
Following the talk, Lightfoot will lead guests on a tour of Uwharrie Outdoor Living’s Made in America custom outdoor collections while discussing their options for personalization.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with ASID as one of the leading sources for connecting our trade industry with interior designers,” said Lightfoot. “We look forward to learning from their CEO, and I am excited to be one of this talk’s expert panelists. The growth of both of our brands has continued to gain momentum throughout 2026 with an increase in our customer base as designers, stagers and hospitality customers from all across the country have opened new accounts and are loving our wide assortment of products.”
As part of several new strategic initiatives, Armen Living will also launch a comprehensive Retail Gallery Program to help retailers elevate in-store merchandising.

Tailored for retailers of all sizes, the program features customizable display and signage options to cohesively present seating collections across the bar and dining categories. Armen Living maintains over 500 in-stock SKUs and has private-label capabilities as well.
“It is exciting that our casual dining and bar stool category continues to grow dramatically with our design and retail customers, given the number of SKUs we offer and the variety of collections we offer,” said Reb Nicholson, national sales manager of Armen Living. “This fall we will premier new introductions for bar stools, dining and leather upholstery, with 50 new items alongside exciting new programs. Looking towards a bright future, we look forward to supporting the design, trade and retail community, and we invite our customers and market buyers to come join us in our showroom at 417 S. Wrenn St. to explore new designs from both our legacy brands.”
Armen Living’s notable new outdoor introduction is the Solara Modular Kitchen Collection, which includes a variety of outdoor furniture and cabinet pieces. Designed with a fully ventilated construction to create multiple configurations, it features cabinet bases, made from solid kiln-dried eucalyptus wood in a Natural finish, paired with a durable Superstone Top in Dune Beige.
At fall market, Armen Living will debut several new Solara pieces with a kitchen island and island bar, designed with coordinating Solara bar stools. Solara bar stools are made from the same solid eucalyptus wood in natural finish and are paired with a light-brown 100% olefin outdoor fabric
