ALBION, Ind. — Three Birds Casual has launched the new Atelier modular dining collection, engineered to provide greater flexibility in creating tables suited to a range of spaces and styles.
Rather than offering a single predetermined table design, Atelier separates the table into two elements: surface and foundation. Ceramic surfaces can be paired with compatible foundations to create a range of finished tables from a streamlined collection of components. The initial offering for the collection includes round and square ceramic surfaces in two finishes, with foundation options in teak, aluminum and stainless steel, as well as the sculptural Vera teak design.
The ceramic surfaces are made with a durable stonelike appearance. Nero provides a darker look with a charcoal visual texture while Daino comes in a warmer cream palette. Each ceramic tabletop also includes an umbrella hole and a plug for when the umbrella is not in use.
The contrasting foundations were designed to allow Atelier to move comfortably between contemporary, transitional and more natural outdoor environments.
“We see Atelier as the starting point for a line that will effortlessly complement everything in our catalog,” said Telly Varga, director of marketing at Three Birds Casual. “The nature of Atelier begs for creativity and for the user to push the boundaries of how to make their living space unique to them. We are excited to eventually extend this design philosophy to larger dining tables and occasional tables in the future.”
The Atelier collection will make its debut at Casual Market Atlanta in AmericasMart Building 1, Showroom 3-C6A. The collection also will be on display at BDNY, Nov. 8-9, at the Javits Center in New York City.
