HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Market Authority announced the second keynote series event for the fall High Point Market, “Best in Design: Live at High Point Market.”
Presented in partnership with Loloi, the interactive event will feature four designers competing for a $10,000 grand prize. Design celebrities Jeremiah Brent, Amber Lewis and Jean Stoffer will judge the projects in the competition.
Prior to market, the judging panel will review submissions from designers across the country with four finalists pre-selected before the fall show. Each finalist will receive $2,000, and the “Best in Design” winner will receive an additional $10,000 prize.

Moderated by Business of Home podcast host Dennis Scully, the open discussion will feature the judges evaluating each project based on design excellence, creative problem-solving, space transformation and storytelling. It will conclude with the live announcement of the design competition’s winner.
“Market guests will not want to miss this exciting new format,” said Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO. “Bringing world-class talent and a live critique to the Keynote stage will deliver an educational and high-energy platform for celebrating exceptional interior design.”
Submissions for the competition will be accepted between Aug. 17 and Sept. 17. The event will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 18 in the High Point Theatre. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. to all registered High Point Market attendees.
