NEW YORK — Whole-home source Meridian Furniture is expanding its outdoor offerings with a new line of indoor/outdoor planters and sculptures, which will debut at the summer Las Vegas Market.
The collection includes six concrete planters with textured pitting for depth and durability. The planters are available in clean, rounded barrel shapes or sculptural hourglass-shaped silhouettes. Planters come in cream or travertine finishes and include drainage holes.
“Consumers now are focused on connecting their indoor spaces with nature with calm, earthy palettes, natural light and organic materials like wood and stone that effortlessly blur the lines between their living space and the environment,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture. “With suggested retails ranging from $299 to $699, depending on size, these new planter designs offer an elevated way to showcase greenery with contemporary style.”

Meridian also will introduce the Torix sculpture, an art deco-inspired piece made up of stacked organic forms with a cream concrete finish complete with textured pitting. The sculpture is appropriate for use in covered outdoor settings.
These introductions were designed to round out the company’s outdoor offerings so that Meridian can be a one-stop shop for exterior design.
“Our continued growth in the outdoor and home décor categories demonstrates our commitment to making it easy for our customer base to complete their design project using a single source,” said Mitch Hodges, Meridian Furniture vice president of sales. “Retailers and designers already turn to us for fashion-forward upholstery, marble occasional tables, bedroom and dining room tables. Now we’re continuing our push further into design-focused accessorizing as well.”
The new collections will be on display in Meridian Furniture’s Las Vegas Market showroom, World Market Center Building B, Showroom 101.
