True Caliber releases Signature Rockwell freestanding grill

O’FALLON, Mo. — Luxury grill and outdoor kitchen maker True Caliber has introduced a newly enhanced version of its Signature Rockwell freestanding grill. Designed by architect David Rockwell, the freestanding 360-degree, walk-around grill was created to mimic the communal experience of gathering around a picnic table.

The grill is offered in a Crimson finish and has a fully retractable “disappearing lid” that slides seamlessly beneath the cooktop when open, which creates an unobstructed view of the grill surface.

The enhanced Signature Rockwell boasts three industry-exclusive 20,000 BTU Crossflame burners (60,000 BTUs total) that provide even, consistent heat across a generous 666-square-inch active grilling surface. The design also features an integrated side surface that expands the functional workspace, offering a dedicated area for plating, prepping or presenting dishes directly at the grill.

The grill is outfitted with durable Weber Knapp hinges and a firebox pitched at a steeper angle to improve grease management and flow. The Signature Rockwell has a handcrafted marine-grade aluminum body with an architectural sapele base, constructed of the same 300-series stainless steel found in True’s commercial-grade refrigeration. The unit can be configured as a stationary model with leg levelers or as a mobile unit on smooth-gliding casters.

While the Signature Rockwell is offered in a Crimson finish, it’s also fully customizable through True Caliber’s Build Your True program, with a palette of finishes and hardware options that offer 96 distinctive color combinations. The company also offers custom color-matching capabilities, which include the option of automotive-grade paints.

“The Signature Rockwell was designed to fulfill both the aesthetic and essential needs of the modern grilling experience, combining performance, versatility and user-focused design,” said Kay Trulaske, sales and marketing, True Caliber. “The new freestanding unit introduces unprecedented flexibility — whether serving as a stationary focal point or moving effortlessly on smooth-gliding casters, it extends beyond the traditional outdoor kitchen footprint to become a dynamic social hub that adapts to the flow of any luxury environment.”
