NEW YORK — Meridian Furniture will make its return to the Las Vegas Market in January after signing a lease for a 5,000-square-foot showroom on the first floor of Building B at World Market Center.
The new showroom will feature a series of vignettes highlighting products from all of Meridian’s whole-home categories, including outdoor. The return to Las Vegas Market comes after Meridian left the show in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Buyers and interior designers west of the Mississippi aren’t coming to the High Point Market like they once were, and we feel that we need a West Coast presence to reach them,” said Meridian Furniture President Michael Rosilio. “We believe that the Las Vegas Market has recovered from the doldrums of Covid, and the market has the right traffic to help propel our brand today, which is ideal for buyers, designers and stagers, whether they are outfitting a flat in Manhattan, a condo in South Beach, a cabin in Breckinridge or a sleek contemporary in LA’s trendy Silver Lake district.”
All of Meridian’s 12,000-plus SKUs are in stock and available for quick delivery in multiple finishes, materials and colors. Rosilio said the Las Vegas showroom will be merchandised in a way to help customers better visualize how to present the brand’s products in their stores.
“We’re coming to Las Vegas to help make retail doors swing,” he said. “People under the age of 50 don’t mind shopping at the same furniture stores that their parents did, but they don’t want to buy the same furniture that their parents bought. Meridian offers the versatility, modern aesthetics and fresh looks that retailers, designers and stagers need now to create excitement for attracting these customers and clients.”
