HIGH POINT, N.C. — WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home furnishings industry, has announced the keynote speaker for its spring Educational Breakfast as well as other events slated for the upcoming High Point Market.
Award-winning business speaker Ross Bernstein will address attendees at the breakfast on “The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability From the Sports World to the Business World,” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 26 at Congdon Yards in downtown High Point.
In his speech, Bernstein will share powerful lessons from the sports world and how those same principles can drive success in business. After interviewing more than 1,000 professional athletes and coaches who were members of championship teams, Bernstein discovered that the traits that define champions — integrity, accountability, leadership and strong relationships — also help organizations thrive.
Bernstein’s perspective is rooted in the home furnishings business, as the son and grandson of a Minnesota furniture retailer and brother of Furnituredealer.net CEO Andy Bernstein.

Tickets for the breakfast are $35-$50 and include a hot breakfast. There is limited parking for the event behind the Factory at Congdon Yards.
Also during market, WithIt will host its market networking event on April 24, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Sunbrella activation in the walkway between Showplace and the Transportation Terminal. The event is free and open to all market attendees.
