LAS VEGAS — Armen Living will debut more than 80 new products, including pieces from recently acquired Uwharrie Chair Co., at the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
Along with new indoor collections, Armen Living will bring several outdoor introductions to market, including the Palea and Linei collections, as well as the Ciela outdoor lounge set. The market also will serve as the West Coast debut of Armen Living’s new custom outdoor furniture line, Uwharrie Chair Co., the North Carolina-based casual furnishings maker acquired in December.
“Over the past year, we have focused on evolving Armen Living’s outdoor aesthetic to reach a broader audience while remaining faithful to the contemporary design language our core customers love,” said Holly Lightfoot, director of product development, Armen Living. “This season, we are introducing new finishes in both metal and wood, allowing us to push the boundaries of our styling. Our goal was to create collections that are not just visually striking, but deeply functional — bridging the gap between modern design and everyday outdoor livability.”
The Ciela features modern, low-profile frames with woven details and an Italian gray sintered stone tabletop. The Leni is Armen Living’s take on luxury outdoor living, a complete collection for dining and lounge featuring a wrought iron design that pairs with concrete dining and occasional tabletops.
Armen Living’s Jazmin, their bestselling indoor chair, gets its own outdoor collection, featuring a sleek matte black finish, sintered stone tabletops and textured acrylic fabric. The Avila in a dark brown powder-coated aluminum frame boasts a handwoven back detail and cream upholstery for a classic black-and-white contrast.
The Ember collection offers a plank wire-brushed finish for the counter-height table and two styles of counter chairs, along with a complete matching lounge set featuring a sofa, chairs and occasional tables. And the Pavilion collection has an expansion with new lounge pieces, including a sofa, chair and outdoor occasional products.
Along with outdoor furnishings introductions, Armen Living has a new collection of modular storage pieces — dubbed Solara — featuring standalone cabinets, island and bars with a sleek design and open-slat details on the front and sides. The eight-piece collection is made from solid eucalyptus wood and Super Stone tops, designed to complement outdoor kitchens. The company also expanded its contemporary outdoor accent table collection, which is made with fiber-reinforced concrete and available in a range of styles, finishes and colors.
During Las Vegas Market, Armen Living will host three events in showroom B762. On Jan. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy Sunday Brunch with food and drinks, as well as live music by Las Vegas DJ TMYK. On Jan. 26, from 9 to 11 a.m., guests can get complimentary head shots by Katie Hickenbottom Photography. On Jan. 27, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., the showroom will host a fireside chat with Kathleen Jennison of KTJ Design Co. on residential design for singles, moderated by Serena Martin of 24/7 Creative Agency.
“Designing for the ‘Solo Set’ helped me to diversify my design business over the past several years.” Jennison said. “‘The Solo Set’ is decisive, confident but curious, and almost always overwhelmed at the start. They’re single — some recently divorced, some widowed and others never married — but all of them are starting fresh, and most in a new home with a new chapter. And they’ve become my favorite kind of project.”
