BALDWIN PARK, Calif. — Shade and accessory maker Treasure Garden has appointed Benjamin Ma as its new chief executive officer. Ma succeeds his father and company founder, Oliver Ma.
Benjamin joined the family business more than 15 years ago in an entry-level role, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every department of Treasure Garden. Through years of on-the-ground learning, operational leadership and close collaboration with partners across Europe, Australia, and South America, he was later promoted to vice president. In that role, he directed domestic operations, led national sales, oversaw production and spearheaded the strategic expansion of the company’s hospitality division, Shademaker.

Throughout his tenure, Benjamin has also been the driving force behind the brand’s product development strategy. His leadership has been defined by his ability to bridge complex international operations, overseeing the critical interaction between domestic sales, quality control and the company’s manufacturing and design hubs in China and Taiwan.
In addition to his work with the core brand, Ma led the comprehensive rebranding of Shademaker, Treasure Garden’s premier hospitality division. His dual focus on sales growth and product engineering has solidified Shademaker’s reputation as a top-tier provider for the contract and hospitality markets.
“I am honored to lead Treasure Garden as we build upon the strong foundation and 40-year legacy established by my father and the dedicated people of this company,” Benjamin said. “While remaining a trusted partner to our customers, we will continue to push boundaries and innovate, enhancing the outdoor experience through design, quality, and forward-thinking solutions.”
