Ultrafabrics adds new colors to Tottori collection

NEW YORK — Performance fabric and alternative leather maker Ultrafabrics has added 10 new color options to its Tottori collection.

Tottori’s new colors draw inspiration from the natural serenity of Japandi design, a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics that emphasizes simplicity, functionality and a deep connection to nature. The new colors are: Amber Gold, Burnt Ochre, Coral Reef, Drizzle, Faded Purple, Fig Jam, Bali Bliss, Hazy Sky, Natural Bark and Wild Truffle.

“We are thrilled to unveil the refresh of our Tottori collection, which pays homage to the breathtaking beauty of the Tottori Sand Dunes in Japan,” said Barry Silverman, vice president of marketing and branding for Ultrafabrics. “The new colors not only celebrate the natural serenity that Japandi design embodies, but they also represent our commitment to innovation and sustainability.”

Ultrafabrics has made a push for sustainability with a goal of including at least 50% rapidly renewable and/or recycled materials within its portfolio. Ultrafabrics’ sustainable alternative leathers are bleach-cleanable and do not contain any Red List chemicals, PFAS, PVC, plasticizers or intentionally added formaldehyde. The Tottori collection is SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certified, REACH compliant and meets Health Care Without Harm’s Healthy Interiors Criteria V2.3. The collection boasts 400,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek) and 200,000 rubs (Martindale) durability, along with a reinforced backcloth made of recycled polyester and 100% FSC/PEFC certified rayon. It also features hydrolysis resistance for 16 weeks. Each linear yard of Tottori contains approximately eight recycled plastic water bottles.
