Agio-USA promotes 3 executives to new positions

Agio-USA has promoted three key executives to new leadership positions, effective Dec. 1.

Leonard Saldana has been elevated to chief operating officer after the departure of Douglas Peppler, who retired in November. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Saldana has more than 20 years of experience with Agio-USA. His most recent role was senior vice president of product marketing and development.

Known for his expertise in competitive analysis, product design and business strategy, Saldana has earned a reputation as one of the most skilled and hardworking professionals in the furniture industry, the company said in a news release, adding that his deep experience in the outdoor sector positions him uniquely to drive Agio-USA’s growth and innovation. Prior to joining Agio-USA, Saldana was director of product development at O’Sullivan Industries and product manager for Sunbeam Outdoor Products.

Ashley Mohr, Agio chief financial officer, said, “Leonard’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping our strategic direction. His promotion reflects our confidence in his ability to guide Agio-USA into its next chapter of growth and success.”

“We are extremely grateful for everything Doug has done for the company over his long tenure with us,” Mohr said. “We wish him the best in his retirement and in all his future endeavors.”

Todd Wingrove, who has been vice president of sales at Agio for the past nine years, has been appointed to an additional role to oversee Agio’s new Hospitality Division. Wingrove, a 30-year veteran of the furniture industry, offers a wealth of experience in product sales, sales management and manufacturers’ representation. His extensive background includes a position as vice president of sales for Homecrest Outdoor Living, where he led residential and commercial sales and spearheaded the creation of a Specialty Division sales team at SunVilla.

Mohr said, “Todd’s impressive background in sales for both indoor and outdoor categories makes him an ideal fit to lead our Hospitality Division. We’re excited to have launched our newest division earlier this year; we know his leadership will be crucial as Agio adapts to today’s evolving sales environments in both sectors.”

Chelsey Wolf has been promoted to product and marketing manager. Also based in Nashville, Wolf has a decade of experience with Agio in roles such as product development manager and merchandise design assistant. She also previously worked for such brands as Nordstrom and J. Crew leading creative marketing strategies, managing fabric selections and overseeing design teams.

“We are thrilled to have Chelsey assume this pivotal role,” said Mohr. “Her creativity and dedication to quality have been essential to our brand’s success, and we look forward to her continued contributions.”
