Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living unveiling Palm Desert Poolside Collection in High Point

Lexington Home Brands is debuting the Palm Desert Poolside Collection from their Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living brand at the High Point Market this week.

The Tommy Bahama brand is uniquely positioned to provide that seamless continuity. The Palm Desert indoor collection was introduced in 2021 and has become a bestseller. The natural extension of that success is the development of a complementary outdoor collection. Palm Desert Poolside represents exactly that and will make a great addition to our Tommy Bahama Outdoor Living assortment.”

The collection is composed of 16 items, including round and rectangular dining, deep seating and occasional tables. Durable aluminum frames highlight a custom hand-applied finish that emulates the character of natural teak. Deep-seating frames feature a horizontal pattern of all-weather woven wicker, elegantly blending three complementary color tones for visual interest. Dining and occasional tops are crafted from White Agate — a striking natural stone with a protective sealer. Dining and lounge chair designs incorporate synthetic cording in a rich mocha coloration that lends a clean contemporary edge to the collection.

With a touch of midcentury styling and a unique fusion of materials and finishes, the collection offers a fresh approach to today’s elevated view of outdoor living. The company highlights four points of differentiation offered by the Tommy Bahama Outdoor

Living assortment: brand recognition, styling diversity, customization and in-stock inventory support.

Brand recognition: Tommy Bahama is the most recognized consumer brand in the outdoor category, according to a Lexington news release.

Styling diversity: A majority of outdoor brands offer products that tend to be similar in styling, color and scale, the release says, adding that Tommy Bahama takes the opposite approach, featuring a diverse range of styling, with scaling suited for grand outdoor living spaces as well as modest balconies and terraces.

Customization: Deep-seating designs are upholstered in Lexington’s North Carolina upholstery facility by the same artisans who tailor the company’s indoor products. The result is plush cushioning that the company says is indistinguishable from fine indoor seating. With over 300 performance fabrics in the line as well as full COM capability, customization options are virtually unlimited.

Palm Desert Poolside will be presented in a newly designed area of Lexington’s main showroom campus located at 1300 National Highway in Thomasville during the High Point Market. The showroom will be open daily from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Complimentary parking is available on the showroom campus, and lunch is served daily.

During market, private transportation departs every 10 minutes from the Lexington Design Studio in downtown High Point to the main showroom and back, operating daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until the last guest is served.
