Outdura will display its new VIRAGE fabric collection in a new 5’x5’ Display Cube exhibit located at its new buyer entrance in the courtyard of Market Square on Saturday, May 21 during the Interwoven fabric market.
“The Display Cubes in the Market Square Courtyard at the Interwoven entrance are a wonderful way to introduce the show’s attendees to our new Virage collection of solution-dyed acrylic fabrics,” says Teresa Buelin, Outdura’s business development and marketing manager. “In our display, we will be showing a fabric vignette from our new Virage Escape group.”
Escape celebrates the neutrals and subtler colors found in nature. It builds on the idea of escaping from a modern technology-driven world to a restful, peaceful sanctuary where relaxing becomes the new modern luxury.
In the cube, Outdura is using:
- Sherwood, the signature jacquard print of this category elaborately drawn by hand, allowing enough space in the flowing botanical design to remind us of the importance of peace and calm in our lives.
- The complementing Surface jacquard is subtle in pattern yet lush in texture. It is a soft reminder that “smart” luxury may have an uneven look; it´s not about being posh and overwhelming but rather being human-friendly and useful.
- The Bark dobby echoes a tree bark pattern. Its unrefined and varied texture creates an organic look archived by the implementation of a nep yarn combined with a tiny intricate dobby weave.
- The Pathway stripe reminds us of long thoughtful walks through a forest, the time we take to reconnect and recharge.
Interwoven takes place May 22-25, 2022. For more information about the show, visit internationaltextilealliance.org/show/
