As much as anyone wishes the pandemic was over, it’s not. And because of that, sales reps have to prepare for the New Year by finding timely, custom products that are available for customers.
Here are a few things you can do to be ready:
- Make sure the orders are placed with a brand you can trust that will fabricate your products in a timely fashion and have the ability to get the proper logistics and have your goods arrive prior to your clients’ projects deadline.
- Custom is very important, as it gives you and your designers an edge by having special collections made for the clients’ individual projects. This is ideal for hospitality, restaurants, resorts, luxury senior housing, and many other commercial projects. Always look for quality tops that are non-porous and easy to care for and keep clean, such as HPL—as this a very hot topic and will continue to be in 2022.
- It is very important to deal with top-of-the-line responsible customer service, as communication is the biggest portion of the projects’ positive traction, with prompt responses allowing for a smooth transition of orders from entry to final delivery.
- Make sure the logistics companies involved are very responsive and responsible. This is extremely important, as they are the first and last to touch the products, and always leave an impression with the final details in set up with all deliveries to projects.
There will no doubt be challenges in the New Year, but if we prepare for some of those now, we will be better off when new challenges arise.
