Windward adds two to sales team

Windward has added John Pinion and Justin Welsh to its sales team. Bringing over two decades of sales experience between the two of them, they will represent the company’s casual furnishings category and work with retail and designer clientele as well as the commercial market. 

“We are excited to welcome John and Justin to the Windward team,” says Charles Emmons, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Windward. “With their years of experience in the outdoor industry, we feel confident our valued retail and commercial partners, as well as prospective customers, will be served with the highest possible level of passion and professionalism.”  

John Pinion

As the president of the International Home Furnishing Representatives Association, Pinion’s territory focus includes Texas and Oklahoma. He holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and an MBA from the ThunderbirdSchool of Global Management. He resides in Cedar Park, Texas with his wife, Michelle, and their two boys, Johnny and Austin.

“Windward is an undiscovered gem with its high quality Made in America products that sell extremely well and the great people who own this business,” Pinion says. “I am excited for the opportunity this association will mean for dealers in my territory and for me.”

Justin Welsh

Welsh will represent Windward to dealers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. He brings a history of over 17 years in territory management and service to the home and casual furnishings industry. With a Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has been recognized as Sales Rep of the Year by casual furnishings manufacturers Gloster Furniture and NorthCape on multiple occasions. Welsh, his wife, Danielle, and their two children, Blake and Mia, reside in New York.
