International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) has extended the 2021 Pinnacle Awards competition entry deadline from Aug. 2 to Aug. 13. Designers, manufacturers or students must enter the 2021 Pinnacle Awards on the ISFD website to be considered, and winners will be announced at the Pinnacle Awards celebration on Monday, October 18.
“We have heard from several companies that they had experienced delays in getting their photography work done for their entries or that they needed more time to finish up their submissions,” explains John Conrad, ISFD executive director. “Since we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pinnacle Awards this year, we wanted to make sure that everyone had an opportunity to help make this year’s Pinnacle Awards the most successful one yet. I am also really excited to see so many home textile companies take advantage of the new opportunity to enter this year.”
The Pinnacle Awards are intended to celebrate designs that are produced mostly in larger numbers for sale to consumers. Submissions are open to all furniture and textile designers, manufacturers, and design students, and the award will go to the designer or designers directly involved in the “design craft” of the products(s).
In addition to home textiles, the other Pinnacle Awards entry categories include outdoor, wall décor, floor coverings rugs, accessories, lighting, motion upholstery, and more. See the ISFD 2021 Pinnacle Awards website for more details
Tickets for the Pinnacle Awards celebrations will go on sale in September.
