COMFORT, Texas – OW Lee, manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits, and accessories located in Comfort, Texas, partnered with the Kendall County Office of Emergency Management to offer all OW Lee employees and their families the Moderna vaccine. Those who wished to receive the vaccine got their first dose on Friday, April 16, at OW Lee’s headquarters in Comfort, Texas. Thirty doses were administered to employees and their families, with the second dose being available in four weeks.

“We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our employees and their families, and we are grateful to Kendall County Office of Emergency Management for working with us to make it easy for those who wished to get the vaccine,” said Terri Rogers, VP of sales, OW Lee. “We are adding team members weekly to work on our production line. It’s important to us that all of our employees feel safe when they come to work.”
OW Lee recently relocated their operation from Ontario, California, to Comfort, Texas. The new Comfort facility has 255,000 more square feet than the Ontario facility, providing over 2.5 times more space to expand their manufacturing. OW Lee is currently ramping up production in the new facility and is hiring for multiple positions in the production department.
