Sustainable outdoor furniture brand Outer has launched what it calls its most innovative product to date, the Aluminium Infinity Chaise ($2,150).
The Aluminium Infinity Chaise is the first and only Chaise Lounge in existence with an adjustable sling tightening and replacement system, the company says.
This innovative launch, two years in development, comes from co-founder and Chief Design Officer Terry Lin’s determination to create products that solve common outdoor furniture problems that prevent people from getting outside. Fabric inevitably stretches over time, but the new adaptive sling and replacement system allows you to tighten the fabric, ensuring maximum comfort and longevity.
Also, gone are the days of standing up to adjust the position of your recline or risk awkwardly pinching your fingers with the Infinity Chaise Lounger’s revolutionary gas spring-controlled backrest. Similar to adjusting an office chair or car seat, this tech lets you experience the luxury of smoothly and effortlessly reclining at any angle without ever leaving your seat.
Each Infinity Chaise Lounger will be shipped with Outer’s patented OuterShell to ensure the furniture is always clean, dry and ready to be enjoyed.
For an even more elevated and comfortable experience, consumers can elect to upgrade their outdoor furniture with Outer’s custom OuterWeave Cushions ($400), available in four colorways: Pacific Fog Gray, Palisades Cream, Dark Pebble Gray and Sandstone Gray. Designed to fit the Outdoor Infinity Chaise Lounge perfectly, the proprietary and hand-sewn OuterWeave fabric is weather-ready and resistant to water, stains, mold and fading. For simple storage, each cushion rolls up and is secured with velcro.
Rounding out the Chaise Collection and adding to the brand’s Wicker offering, Outer also has launched a second lounger, the Brown Wicker Outdoor Chaise Lounge, the brand’s first mixed-material chaise.
