While 2021 has been very difficult and filled with uncertain twists and turns, it once again showed that teamwork is extremely important and that we must always look out for one another and keep working inside as well as outside the box while tweaking our work ethics, honing our customer service skills, and assisting our vendors with details and sharper marketing skills to enable better traction for the brands we are proud to represent.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time of the year to look toward each other and be thankful for what we have. We also need to be generous to each other, always offer a helping hand, and be there for support and brighten our colleagues’ day!
It is the time of year, where a good fire surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs will do us some good—time to relax and have a nice cocktail or a good glass of brandy and watch the fire crackle, with a blanket over our knees while we reminisce with our family, friends, and neighbors.
The outdoor living industry has once again shown strong resilience, and it’s all because of our persistence to continue to be better.
This year has once again been very trying and has tested us under uneasy and difficult waters. And we have all persisted, my dear friends. We must be proud of our accomplishments!
I’m very fortunate to have not only kept my business steady and on an even keel, but I’ve managed to receive the Manufacturers Sales Representative of the year from Shademaker Umbrellas during these turbulent times.
I’m very optimistic about what the future looks like on the horizon, and I’m excited to passionately work with you all into the coming season!
