LEESBURG, Fla. — Florida furnishings retailer Babette’s Furniture & Home opened the state’s first Margaritaville gallery, featuring furniture from the licensed line by Hooker and Sunset West inspired by singer Jimmy Buffett.
Designed to feel less like a traditional showroom and more like a place to relax and linger, the gallery reflects Buffett’s relaxed coastal lifestyle with layered textures, inviting seating, curated décor and indoor-outdoor living elements.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Margaritaville lifestyle to our community and welcome Parrot Heads,
longtime fans, and anyone who appreciates Jimmy Buffett’s spirit of relaxed living,” said Brian Ward, CEO of Babette’s Furniture & Home. “We want this gallery to be more than a place to shop. It’s a place to find inspiration, connect with others and celebrate the joy of escapism. Being able to pair that celebration with support for My Special Place and the Villages Parrot Heads Club makes this opening especially meaningful to our team.”
The grand-opening celebration on Oct. 24 highlighted Babette’s support of My Special Place, a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, supportive housing for adults with special needs. Babette’s will donate a portion of sales to My Special Place, along with furnishing common areas in its new residential unit.
Babette’s features 90,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor furnishings in its location on U.S. Highway 441 in the central Florida city of Leesburg.
