Italian home brands Lodes and Unopiù will make their United States debut next month at BDNY, slated for Nov. 8-9, at the Jacob J. Javits Center in New York City. Lodes specializes in lighting for both indoor and outdoor spaces, while Unopiù makes outdoor furniture and accessories.
The brands’ debut at BDNY marks a new step in their push into international markets, with the companies focusing on connecting with architects, interior designers and hospitality professionals in the United States.
“Bringing our collaboration with Unopiù to BDNY means engaging with an international audience of designers who are particularly attentive to the evolution of hospitality spaces,” said Massimiliano Tosetto, managing director, Lodes. “It is an ideal setting to show how lighting and furnishings can work together to shape new outdoor environments.”
Lodes will present the Lodes Outdoor collection, while Unopiù will showcase a selection of its outdoor collections through a series of settings highlighting the breadth and versatility of its offering for contract and hospitality projects.The selection will range from Igea and Salò, designed by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana, to Cora, Egadi, Symi, and Pertre, collections developed by a collective of designers aspart of the Diario di Viaggio project. Among the Lodes products on display will be Kinno, an award-winning design by Patrick Norguet. The two collections will come together within the same exhibition space, demonstrating how elements with different functions can integrate through a cohesive aesthetic and design language
