Italian lighting brand Lodes steps into the outdoor category with its new exterior illumination collection, Lodes Outdoor. The line includes high-performance decorative lighting designed to create a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor in both residential and hospitality environments.
“Our approach to outdoor lighting is innovative and unconventional, offering solutions that are both functional and decorative,” said Massimiliano Tosetto, managing director at Lodes.
The collection, which was created in collaboration with designers Patrick Norguet and estudi{H}ac, alongside Lodes’ in-house design team, includes everything from architectural lighting to lanterns.
Focus is a projector inspired by photography, featuring lines and details reminiscent of camera optics and lenses. Kinno is a bollard with a mushroomlike silhouette designed to blend seamlessly into natural landscapes. Chelsie is a sleek floor washer that creates refined light effects and also is available as a compact step light. As its name indicates, Reed is inspired by the distinctive shape of reeds, designed to be planted directly into the ground either individually or in rhythmic arrangements. And Stitch is a lantern with a distinctive woven pattern made of metal and outdoor fabric.
All products in the Lodes Outdoor collection are engineered for long-term reliability and made with high-performance materials to stand up across diverse environmental conditions. The pieces also are designed with sustainability in mind via responsible lifecycle management. Fixtures incorporate modular and replaceable components, facilitating end-of-life recycling and repair for extended use.
The line also was optimized for glare control, with internal and external accessories designed to minimize lateral light spill while maintaining high illumination. The optical system is engineered to shield the light source from direct view.
