ICFA names new executive director

After a year as director of programs and member engagement for the International Casual Furnishings Association, Siri Scott has been promoted to executive director of the organization.

In her new position, Scott will step into the role held by Jackie Hirschhaut, who had held that position for the past 10 years.  Moving forward, Hirschhaut will transition to senior advisor to ICFA.

In her introductory year at ICFA, Scott led the creation of the Women’s Leadership Network, worked to promote both buyer attendance and programming at the two Casual Market Atlanta trade shows, and learned the workings of the association with a focus on expanding member benefits.

“On behalf of the Executive Committee, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to Jackie for her extraordinary leadership. Through her passion and unwavering commitment, she has not only supported the growth of our industry but has also helped foster a strong, vibrant community within and beyond our association. With this transition to Siri, I know firsthand how Jackie has not only been instrumental in doubling the size of the organization but also broadening its reach to encompass the entire industry,” said Henry Vanderminden IV, president of Telescope Casual Furniture and ICFA board chair. “She will certainly be leaving it better than she found it.
